Anyway - are the HTC Vive controllers top secret for people outside GDC for now? Everyone's only showing the headset on their websites.

It seems as if people aren't allowed to record or take photos inside the booth itself. So far, only a small number of people (mainly press) have had access given you need an appointment.

Looks a little like the bombs used to break pipes and windows in the later chapters of Portal 2. It's a new model, though.

Can't say I understand the sheer hatred for the Steam Controller. Though to be fair, most of it has come from people who exclusively play with Dualshock or Xbox controllers, or absolutely refuse to use anything other than mouse and keyboard. All of what they're saying is somewhat reminiscent of the ridicule that the Gamecube controller got when it was shown.

While the controller isn't the most beautiful thing, I'm certainly willing to give it a try.
