My face was badly burned 2 years ago when my dad set our house on fire.

Today a little boy came up to me shoved a ring pop on my finger.

He said "Now we're married! Sorry I couldn't ask but my daddy said you had to get the pretty ones before they ran away."
My friend was talking to a guy on the internet who started threatening that he would come to her house and hurt her.

She has 3 little brothers, all of whom slept on her floor and outside her door for a week with nerf guns and water guns to make their big sister feel safe.

Kids like this GMH
I work in a school. In the cafeteria the other day, someone spilled a drink on a little girl's skirt.

Her classmates started yelling that she had wet herself. She looked close to tears.

Her best friend, seated opposite her, promptly took up his own drink and poured it over his shorts.

The bullies stopped laughing.
Baaaaaaaaw ;(

Jesus, there's another '____ gives me hope' website?

Cool I guess, I don't really find these things beneficial though. Hearing about the sweetness & kindness of others makes me selfishly wish for some of that for myself. But my depression aside, it is heartening to know there is some goodness in the world.

Edit: I should explain why my little brother said baby cock since vegeta wanted to know.
-when he was little, he had a babysitter who was an old french woman. When he would say baby words like "num num" or "da-da" etc, she would say "No Baby Caca!", which means no baby talk. Well my little brother just simplified it to "baby cock" and he would say "baby cock" all the time, and eventually he would insult people by calling them baby cocks.
Umm, if that were spanish, "caca" would mean something totally different from "talk."

Which just reminded me. On the news they showed a little Hispanic kid who had submitted a drawing of a horse to a newspaper. They published it but some jerk at the newspaper place had drawn in horsie poo. The poor kid looked really sad. TV news reporter: "What happened?" Kid: "Someone drew caca on my picture ;(."
