Uncharted had more survival horror than this.
Have you ever played outbreak? Seriously, that game was goddamn awful.Outbreak had co-op.
I said the same thing about RE4 when going through the initial village levels. Next thing I know, I'm in some claustrophobic sewers with some super beast thing stalking me. Scared me shitless.Maybe it will get dark and gloomy and spooky at some point...I hope so at least. Terror and horror are two VERY different things.
Atleast they are trying somethin different then just dark streets badly lit, foggy towns..etc. I would say its setting its best feature.RE4 was great. If it is like that but with better graphics then I am excited. Not sure about the setting though. Maybe it will get dark and gloomy and spooky at some point...I hope so at least. Terror and horror are two VERY different things.
Outbreak was awesome, it just lacked voice support which made it really hard to cooperate with people online.I lost interest in RE4 about half way through goes it just got ****in boring, there wasnt enough variety of things to do the puzzles for example..sucked horribly. Although I do look forward to RE5, cause it'll probably be alot funner with a buddy.

This.I remember when RE4 came out I thought it'd all be in that forest village, with a castle at the end. But Capcom kept their hand close to their chest, and RE4 turned out to have an incredible variety in locations and atmosphere, hopefully this will be the same for 5. I doubt anything will be able to beat the first time you walk out the lake cabin into the thunderstorm though, seeing the glowing torches and red eyes of villagers in the distance. Made my skin crawl.
Managing an inventory suck balls, precision aim is slow, and for the love of God Capcom, why can't the characters move while shooting?
These^Controls suck big time regardless of the configuration you choose from, it feels like you are controlling a tank
Well you are in minority aren't you? From what I saw it looked horrible, but thats just me. I guess what interests me is maybe the opportunity to solve puzzles together,..etc. Things like that..If I just wanted to blow zombies away I could do that in l4d.Outbreak was awesome, it just lacked voice support which made it really hard to cooperate with people online.
Who cares they've already pissed off a bunch of the fans for the changes made in RE4.bet yall that if they decided to implemente the run and shoot there will be more outrage by fans
funny thing is, i was playing dead space today and then jumped into a co-op game of RE5Dead Space for all intents and purposes puts RE5 to shame, judging from the demo anyway.
you don't have to do that...you just aim your gun and press A and it reloadsanyway i picked some more off the floor for my pistol and found i had to navigate through a menu combining the pistol and ammo...<sigh>. at that point i just turned it off and deleted the demo.
Yep, the only case you would have to do that in is if you partner picked up ammo and you had to request it. In the demo she'll usually just give it to you without that anyway.you don't have to do that...you just aim your gun and press A and it reloads
