My friend recently tried to flash his BIOS using WinPhlash, but he didn't bother plugging in. Midway through the process, his laptop ran out of juice. Needless to say, the BIOS got raped, and now he can't boot up. It is a Thinkpad R60, and when he took it to the local Lenovo guy he said that a new motherboard would have to be bought. Is this true? Isn't there any cheaper way to fix this??
