I love playing both DOD versions. I like how you spawn in waves and there is really a line to reinforce on the battlefield. And explosions and distant sounds in Source sound pure awesome. * Asus shovels enemy
I know wtf is with that, I don't see the new price advertising except once on the pop up news window when opening steam. What they need to do is put it on that front page with COD2. I actually found out about it from pure luck, I hadn't playing any valve/steam game in a couple months so I log on to find that for some reason I have DOD non-source in my account (lol) so I go to see if it came for free with something and while browsing I figured I'd see if prices were the same for DOD:S and behold.
It could be, if valve gave a shit about the game. But they ditched it long ago to let capitalism viciously rape steam in the butthole.
I'm glad you know the situation about this game...NOT. Mugsy that codes for it is working on putting the finishing touches on TF2, and most of the other DoD devs are working on something to do with the orange box. Once that is complete you'll see more updates.
i hope they give the guns a face lift , its more or less the main complaint that die hard fans keep bringing up.
..updates for tf2. Then they'll be off on the next valve project. I will personally massage your balls if valve release an update for this horribly unsupported barebones version of dod.
DoD is good fun, it would benefit from a little more support though, like updates, new maps and maybe just general news announcements on any community things like custom maps or leagues.
There are tons of awesome custom maps, better than Valve ones. DOD is 10 times more fun than CS..for me that it.
