Within the last week, I have had some strange dreams involving this site. My alarm clock hasn't been working right lately, when I hit snooze it goes off every 2 minutes instead of ever 10. Comepletely ruining my 10-20 minute snoozes :hmph: So this morning, my alarm just wouldn't shut the **** up. Kept going off at the most random times. I am a person who confuses reality with my dreams when I am partially awake, so I believed my alarm to be an actual entity, a new member to hl2.net I believed this new hl2.net member.... er, my alarm clock, was pestering and argueing to us about a combine theory. The alarm kept randomly going off, about 5 times during the course of my 20 minute snooze. Every time it went off, I thought it was arguing with me again... Finally, I was in a deep comfy sleep, when the alarm went off very randomly. I shot up out of bed and looked at the alarm clock and said- "LOOK, I don't even know who you are, quite honestly, no one likes you here. STOP TALKING ABOUT NOVA PROSPECT, I'M TRYING TO SLEEP" in which I proceeded to smack and smash the buttons on my alarm clock numerous times and then fell back to sleep again. O_O I am sure my mom could hear me from her room, probably thought I was effin crazy... because I kinda am... But anyways, thats my dream, do you guys ever have dreams about this place or am I the only loonie here?
Lol, well, apparently I relate hl2.net members to household appliances subconciously. Druckles, you are so a toaster. But really, anytime I look at any username, even a newbie, immediately an image of what I think that person might look like pops up in my head. It does it naturally without me even truly thinking about it.
I haven't had so much as a headcrab enter my dreams, let alone the random personality algorithms that are apparently human people somewhere on these forums. :imu: Though I remember when I was younger I would play Sid Meiers Alpha Centauri like, well a civ addict, and when I closed my eyes at night all I would see was that isometric map of Chiron burned into my minds eye.
Yeah, I was telling Vegeta the other day that I had a really weird dream that everybody was posting in a thread about vaginas... everybody was posting pictures of them... all shapes, sizes, colors. I also told him one of them looked almost alien... the anus was like an eddy on the glossy water's surface, and the vagina was like a notched waterfall. It was really weird and vivid... I blame that thread that guy posted which got locked instantly about "rate your girlfriends *****". I was so offended by how retarded HL2.net had gotten in that dream thread... especially since nearly EVERYBODY was posting. Surreal.
I once dreamed that I killed everyone in this forum during theyr sleep,killing you all whit a spoon............
I don't dream about this forum but mostly about school. Stuff like every1 is making fun of me ;( I also once dreamt the munro said to me "you're banned" and is said "why?" and then he said "because you suck" so I said "huh???" and then my alarm clock went off......
I had a dream where I was lying in bed and Solaris suddenly jumped out from under it screaming "TODAY'S EGGS ARE ATE!" and Stern slowly stepped through my window holding a skillet with his son in it. :|
There's nothing unusual about some aspect of hl2.net being in your dreams if you spend a good portion of your day on here, especially if you happen to be on it up until you go to sleep. ZombieTurtle, I've had dreams like this where things in reality are mixed with my dream. I'm going to guess, that the previous night you were arguing on hl2.net about something along those lines? It was causing you some stress or annoyance? You may have also gone to bed fairly late that night. I guess this because on the last night I was working on my art submission, I had worked something like 6 straight hours on pixel art, and it was very stressing because I worked right until 7:00am or something, right at the deadline. Going to sleep that night I couldn't stop seeing pixels. Some time in the morning my sister came in my room and was asking me for help on something, but I actually perceived it as her asking me the specific Hue/Sat/Lum of certain pixels in the submission I was working on the previous night. I got really annoyed, I actually said to her "how am I supposed to know!?" and I just wanted to sleep. I found out later that day that she was actually asking me to help her install Black and White. Needless to say my response must have been quite odd to her. Rather interesting. But as for dreaming about HL2.net, yeah I did once, I made a thread about it. HL2.net was playing a basketball game against a rival HL2 forum.
I've dreamed that me and SimonomiS were renegade cops and I had to phone him so he could solve a string of murders. I dreamed that I, Pi Mu Rho, Angry Lawyer, Edcrab, el Chi and Qckbeam were all filming a skills video during a real-life zombie apocalypse. Near the end of one dream I had the other day, I realised I was actually FarrowleSparrow. So yes! Sometimes I do!
Jesus Christ, I just realised that you have nearly 2000 posts, and haven't been here for a whole year. While i've been here for 4 freakin' years and only have 700 posts :|
His posts per day are about the same as mine. It's not too ridiculous. Take a look at Stern if you want ridiculous. 21 posts per day.
I once had a dream where I asked Stigmata in person about what I should do to fix my car that had broken down. He suggested bringing it to the gas station, so I did.
I had a dream where I was walking through my living room to go outside, and vegeta was watching a movie and laying on my couch. I had to leave quietly so as not to disturb his movie watching. Actually, a lot of hl2.net members make it into my dreams as minor characters.
That sounds like something I'd do. Although I probably would have suggested something outlandish to amuse myself before giving serious advice. You guys are never in my dreams in person But sometimes I dream about people posting threads and replies on HL2.net. It's weird because sometimes I'll wake up, go to post in the thread, and realize that it was all a dream.
