Apparently he retracted his words and said "I did not say anything to intentionally offend anyone in the LGBT community." Of course he intended to offend gay people, he just didn't intend to become notorious for it. What a douche. I really hope Amendment 1 doesn't pass this week (an amendment to the NC constitution that would legally define marriage as between a man and a woman). It's been a contentious issue here in NC for the past few months.
