Yeah they do, I used one around Christmas time. OP, I don't know what you were expecting from this thread, but the only thing people are going to tell you is to find another means of acquiring the game. (Pre-paid giftcards, etc)

The Half-Life Anthology was available in the US whenever it came out (around six years ago). Perhaps not anymore. You can check your local Half-Price Books. They sometimes have old pc games for cheap.
Ask a friend and give them the money in cash? Honestly, it isn't that hard to buy things. It's kind of the foundation of our economy. You'll work it out.
I don't think you understood what Sulk meant. He meant find a friend with a credit card, have him buy it for you on Steam and then pay him back in cash. Also, all legit PC copies of Half-Life are redeemable on Steam (and if you buy the Half-Life Anthology pack it's mandatory).
Hey, we should all pitch in to get him a copy. I mean, who knows? Maybe he'll gain some inspiration from his play through and become the next ideas guy for an eternally unfinished mod!

If you allready want to get an HL game,get HL2(since you like to mod)... only 1 euro more than HL here...Which is weird,tbh... And you can always get a token card form a bank,they will charge you some small fee,and give you a 1-use card to shop on the net with,and last time i checked,steam supported them...
