As much as I was up for it, I don't think I'll be able to do it tonight. Hopefully another time.

I'll play tonight. How about 8PM EST (-5) tonight? That worked well last time.

    I'll be there.

May I suggest making a new thread about it with all the info (vent IP, servers, time, etc) so more people see it.

Hmmmm, I have played Insurgency for around 2hours now on 3 seperate times. I understand the general concept of the game but honestly its not very user friendly. The map thingy is alright. But I still find it confusing to use. Not to mention not really having an idea of where your going and whats going on. I know its the first release but honestly I think they have a lot of issues with userability and pickup and play. It looks like things have been sacrificed for realism. Saying that though, if it was slightly more user friendly may be it wouldn't feel as good as it does. I have watched a lot of Iraq war videos and honestly it plays out and sounds a hell of a lot like them. Its actually fairly amazing how much they managed to capture that. Definatly lots of issues though. Good mod. Slightly off topic. Just wanted to express my opinion somewhere :p Oh last thing. The Iraqi weapons are boring compared to the Americans, meaning Amerians generally get choosen first and can cause some player issues. The game doesn't seem one sided at all. But I find it does cause a divide in players.

Some good news from the INS boards:
There's a dev chat thing going on at 5.00pm EST today, so I'm hoping it'll be released around or shortly after then? That's probably a bit optimisitc though. :p

I wouldn't go so far as to say they're boring.
Amongst the Ins community, most of the player base was eager to play as the Iraqis... for some reason.

I think both sides are equally fun to play as, but of course me being a Young Marine... soon to be an actual one(hopefully.), I prefer to play as the Marines.

I almost usually go automatically to the Iraqi side; I enjoy the weapons a lot more. The US weapons just seem clumsy and ineffective.

No, no, I'm sure they are. The US weapons don't like me or something. :(

May be its just me. I generally join full servers and always find myself been an RPG troop and honestly its alright. But it gets slightly boring as its gameplay style is fairly slow and sluggish.

I love shooting the M16 rifles, don't know why. If the sides aren't too unbalanced, I always play US. I guess it's also because you're more on the offensive than the Iraqi's.
