Tonight during a versus match my team was getting pretty bored because we were walking all over the other team, which is pretty normal when we play against random people since we are friends and work well together. After the second level of Blood Harvest I get this sweet idea of running from the final safehouse to the beginning safehouse and back. The third part of Blood Harvest rolls around and its our turn to play as the survivors. We made it to the end a little banged up and just stood at the safe house while my friend typed out, "shit guys I forgot my health pack at the beginning and I want it for the health bonus." So we run back to the beginning, with no resistance...not even the players on the other team tried to stop us. When we got to the beginning the same guy typed "shit guys I forgot I used it already." At this point the other team was pretty pissed off and they attempted to kill us when we got out of the tunnels. Two of my teammates got into a fight, one died, and while running on the other typed kill in console. This left two of us, we only encountered two hordes. When we made it to the safehouse we typed kill in console to put the icing on the cake.
If everyone on your team kills themselves while carrying a healthpack you will get a massive amount of points, even if you don't leave the saferoom.
Insisting on using the Hunting Rifle on the finale of No Mercy on Expert should be considered griefing... :flame:
Once, every one in my team was down in the no mercy finale. but they were all in the same area and there was no special infected around, I COULD have saved them. But instead, I pressed "X" (voicechat quick commands) to let out a laugh, and jumped down the building.
Did much the same thing when playing with toaster and Chris the other day. I set them all on fire (might have been by accident) then jumped off the cliff. Sadly they all survived and I didn't. Was fun though.
Someone on my team was getting a bit to shouty about the game, I wasn't in the mood to take it seriously so I ran far ahead, got knocked down, got saved, then jumped off a cliff for the lulz.
I was playing as infected during a VS match in the No Mercy finale. I kept trying to spawn ahead of the survivors, but the guy playing as Bill was power housing through the level, letting his other 3 teammates fight off the hordes as he ran through, and would keep catching me just as I was moving into position, killing me. As much as I didn't like his strategy, it WAS working. Out on the roof tops just after a tank attack, i spawned as a smoker and sat in a hidden area waiting for an opportune moment to snare one of the survivors near the mini gun. One, two.. three.. where's the fourth? I looked around for him and saw him on the same level I was on, around the back side of a building, out of sight and reach of his teammates who just had a boomer barf on them and were attack by a horde. So I sneaked around the building and snared him with my tongue and started slashing him to death. The new tank that just spawned nearly ruined it by hitting him, but turned around and went to grief the others instead. Just then, Francis came around the corner and ran right up to us. I figured he was going to melee me to death, but instead, he just stood there using the "laugh" command over and over and let me slash Bill to death. After I killed Bill I expected to be shot by Francis, but he didn't, so I just turned around and let him be. Bill cussed everyone out and left the game. I asked what that was all about, and the guy playing Francis told me that Bill was talking crap the whole game, from the beginning of No Mercy, and saying racial crap. It was pretty great to see him finally get what he deserved. Glad I was able to help.
