    Forum member tabernumse has posted an e-mail response he has received from Gabe Newell with regards to plans at E3.

    For those unsure on the legitimacy of this correspondence with Gabe, we have personally been forwarded the email, video evidence and further confirmation from Gabe.

    I'm genuinely done with HL if they dont mention something this year. I cant be arsed with this anymore.

    Gabe has annoyed me too long with dangling the carrot on the stick through distractions like L4D2, Portal 2, CS:GO (SERIOUSLY!?!?!?!? OH COME ON!!!!), and Dota 2.

    I cant do this. Even if you whisper ''We're working on a new engine'' I'd be interested again.
