Cannot wait. If they can refine the formula they had in black plague, it'll be quite a ride.

Also, lol at peaking around the corner despite the lantern glow illuminating the entire hallway.

    From Frictional's newsletter:

I love these guys. Plus, the game will be available on Steam. Sweet.

My girlfriend and I loved Penumbra. Can't wait to see how this fares. I just love the door-breaking mechanic. When I first played the Penumbra beta, the flying thing did exactly the same thing to me and I shat myself.

I love how the character reacts to what's happening in the game. The subtle gasps are great.

I have no interest in forgetting about Alan 'something', but considering I've enjoyed Frictionals previous games(I played Penumbra back when it was a techdemo all those years ago and the official commercial game hadn't even been announced) I'll definitely be keeping my eye on this.

    I was scared.

This game looks like it's going to be awesome. I've been wanting a good game to scare the life out of me.
I loved the controls in the game how it looks like you are in complete control of how much you interact with certain objects, like opening the door partway to peek out.

Bumping to say that if you pre-order between now and may 11th you get the game for 50% off ($10). Also, if they reach 2000 preorders by the end of this month they're going to make a commentary track for the game as thanks. They're at 753 right now, up from 666 just this morning.

Nice. They are at 1079 now!! Everyone tell your friends!! It's only $10 FFS. The trailer alone is worth the price of admission!

Probably the only game that will most likely make me piss my pants.

Penumbra was some scary shit experience.

I think I prefer the underground mining and lab facility that was in Penumbra compared to Amensia's setting, but it still looks great.

I like the gothic mansion/castle setting, but in all the gameplay videos it's way too dark for my liking. I think if I played this my eyes and head would hurt from straining to see what the hell is going on.

Also what's the story about anyway?

This is easily one of my most anticipated releases of the year. Looks like they got the atmosphere just right which is a huge part of what makes or breaks games for me. I am just as excited for the demo just so I can get into that world if only for a short while before the full game releases.
