Gamestar has recieved word that the next line of ATi graphics card, the 9900 (Pro), may be bundled with Half-Life 2. The article (Sketchy translation) goes on to speculate that there may be a "strategic partnership" between VALVe and ATi forming.
They also mention that the "gone gold" date for Half-Life 2 will be September 13th, however, they don't have any evidence to back that up.

UPDATE: The bundle has now officially been confirmed by The Inquirer, but the Radeon 9900 has undergone a name (or number) change to the 9800XT.
Direct Feed movie number 6, entitled "BugBait" has been enabled to download from Steam, but will still be under encryption, so no-one can play it yet. An actual release date for the video hasn't been given yet, but it should undoubtedly be out within the next few days.
Confirmed: HL2 not delayed!
This comes as a huge relief for the many anxious Half-Life 2 fans.
As stated in a ServerSpy Newsfeed article the rumours of delay aren't completely true.
HomeLan Fed has a report up quoting Amy Farris, PR director at Vivendi Universal as saying "Valve is still working toward the Sept. 30 ship date." Amy said the Half-Life 2 delay news was a "miscommunication"
HomeLan Fed has managed to chat with Ms. Farris over the phone:
"We have now managed to chat with Ms. Farris over the phone who confirmed that Valve is still planning to ship Half-Life 2 on Sept. 30. She also called the previous news on its delay from the other major gaming web sites 'a miscommunication'."
The wording "working towards" may plant doubt in some people's...
Half-Life 2 Source has interviewed both Gabe Newell and Chris Bokitch of VALVe. The interview is made up of a few parts, the main ones being discussion of the game itself with Gabe, and discussion of mapping in Half-Life 2 and the mapping tool; Hammer, with Chris.
Most interesting was the discovery of how many players Half-Life 2's multiplayer will support:
"Will H-L 2's multiplayer support over 32 players?
[Gabe Newell]: Yes"

All that's needed now is an official VALVe response to the recent events.
The fourth video on steam entitled "Traptown" was finally viewable, this took many days to get out due to ErikJ becoming a father. This video shows the sequence from the e3 movie where traps have been set up all over town to help Gordon. Except with this video, and all the others released on steam, it is high quality at 1024x786 res.

HL2 may be delayed
According to Gamepro.com's news post, among others, Vivendi Universal Games has said that Half-Life 2 will not make the expected September 30 release date. It has been pushed back to a "Holiday 2003" release. No reason has been given for the delay.
Shacknews has denied this, however. Supposedly Gabe Newell responded to the claims by saying "First time I've heard about this."
Gabe Newell of Valve Software has explained in detail the current FSAA issue on the halflife2.net forums! While the legitimacy of the post cannot be confirmed, it does appear that it is Gabe himself (I feel like such a fool questioning his existance here, sigh ).
He explains the problems occuring with AA, and how they can be rectified in the future, so be sure to visit the forums and visit the topic here!

ntfs.org has posted an article claiming that there may be a solution to the Anti-Aliasing in Source problem for nVidia cards. The current Detonator drivers have this problem, but the next line of drivers won't:
"A friend at NVIDIA has let me know that while the current release of drivers, referred to as Rel40 do have this problem, the Rel50 based drivers will not. The drivers, which will be more commonly known as Detonator 5.x will hopefully be available by the time Half-life 2 begins shipping."
While this can only be regarded as a rumour for now, it at least reinstates some hope for nVidia cardholders.

The UK based games retailer, GAME has interviewed Gabe Newell. It may be brief, but it does pry out some new information about the game; examples being third party server browsers and the SDK release date. However, the most interesting section was the answer Gabe gave to being asked what else there was to offer other than gunplay survival techniques:
"GAME: It seems like guns alone won't be enough - what else can you use to survive?
Gabe: I was showing some people down in Hollywood the game last week, and was going through zombie town, showing how I could "Rambo" my way through with guns a-blazin, or I could "MacGyver" my way through by paying attention to the world and being clever (it's easier to be clever when you helped design the level, of course). We're trying pretty hard to reward people for thinking about what's in front of them and the tools the world gives them that could be useful."

X-bit labs has posted an article that explains in detail why Anti-Aliasing may be a problem in Half-Life 2. They got their key information from none other than... HalfLife2.net!
The most shocking news of this development is the fact that ATi cards may be able to alleviate this problem, while nVidia cards are pretty much stuck:
"The developers of the legendary Half-Life game said that drivers are not likely to solve the problem, however, it still can be solved for graphics cards based on VPUs from ATI Technologies, such as RADEON 9500-, 9600-, 9700- and 9800-series. As for NVIDIA GeForce and GeForce FX-series, there are practically no chances to find a workaround, according to Valve."

Valve's finally caught on about the hex editing on key Steam files which allows you to obtain unreleased Direct Feed videos. Erik Johnson now claims that it's "impossible" to find and extract the next videos from the gcache file.
Meanwhile, word is given that the next movie will be "hl2-traptown.exe", which would be the outskirts of City 17 section from the e3 video. It's expected for a release after the weekend.
Ever wondered why Valve decided to develop the Physics Weapon? Greg Coomer, Valve's Creative Director, delivers the answer to PCZone, in PCZ Issue 131 from last month's E3 Gaming Expo.
Greg Coomer: "The new physics weapon is a special weapon that takes advantage of the Havok physics engine in the game, because we've built a world with such a high level of interactivity. All the objects you see lying around - such as barrels or even bodies - you can pick up or interact with in some way. So this physics weapon has several functions such as pushing things, pulling things, throwing things, it's really unique."
When asked how the weapon came about...
Greg Coomer: "We needed some way of letting the player learn and have fun with the new physics system, so we developed the weapon around it"
Coomer also commented that the scale of City 17 is comparable to a medium-sized European City. With such an original weapon...
