Woah, just flashed on TV (CNN) but they don't have it up on their website yet.

Hope all you Brits around here are okay.

    Me too.
... so a power outage caused the explosions?
    Hopefully nobody got hurt. :(

Yeah, that's what they were claiming. But now they're saying we've got multiple incidents in several different stations across the city.

They've also shut down the entire underground system.

    Power outage? Yeah right.

Yeah apparently a number of incidents have happened in the underground...

    I wonder who'll claim this?

Yeah, what the hell is going on with CNN?

Some rain in the South is apparently a bigger story than explosions tearing through London.

""People don't seem to be panicked, but there's so many police and ambulances coming into the areas. People are just concerned, and some are just annoyed at the delay."

    Stiff uppper lip boys!

And a power surge can happen like that, and you have alot of power like an underground, it can cause explosions.

Thank god this didnt happen yesterday! We still got the olympics.

    "Major incident" say police.
Three stations damaged, Kings Cross, Old Street + one other.

Apparently a bus's roof has been blown off.

    Reports of large power surges.

Seriously though, what kind of power surge blows off a bus roof?

EDIT: Anyway, here's what they got so far online: http://edition.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/europe/07/07/london.tube/index.html

I'm watching this right now on Sky News. It's horrible, ****ing horrible. I hope the dumb ass french and germans learn from this, they pulled away from the "war on terror" and more and more attacks are happening. Remember the Madrid bombings? The pattern is just emerging.

That's purely speculation though to associate it with terrorism. Yes, that could well be the case but we just don't know for sure yet.

    Interesting.

Looks like the surges are the result of some event in the tunnel.

If you're listening to the news as it happened, you'll know that it didn't seem that serious at the start. It's only in the last 10 minutes that it's coming clear that it's far more serious than first thought.

Unfortunately I'm listening to Radio 1 and haven't really heard much from them as of yet. Been checking BBC website every now and then.

I work in Recruitment and have a lot of clients in London, getting most of the news straight from them lol.

Speculation? this is not a coincidence! Day after London wins the 2012 Olympic games, multiple explosions, public transport is a soft target the terrorists have struck at before, this is not a power surge.

    Watch your language.

This has terror written all over it, and if you think they won't strike at paris or berlin you're dead wrong.
