Alan Moore is like your grandfather. Sometimes he's a bit angry or confusing, but he's yours and you love him. Frank Miller is the crazy ****ing uncle that your parents don't invite to any gatherings and pretend not to know.

Frank Miller should be henceforth referred to as "Old Man Miller" in the sense that he's like the crazy old guy in a leafy suburb that the kids have heard stories about.

"Oh my God, Bobby! You hit the ball into Old Man Miller's yard! You're gonna have to go get it!"

"I don't wanna get it! I'm not going anywhere near Old Man Miller's house!"

"You hit it, you fetch it!"

"I hear he drinks blended puppies"

Amusing, since Alan Moore is a bit of a cook himself.

This kind of intrigues me. Maybe the strong sense of right vs. wrong and justice against evil you get in superhero comics and stuff attracts that kind of mindset? Who knows.~

Uh Frank Millers Sin City has very little right vs. wrong, 300 doesnt either. Its all just pitiful attempts at shock value, violence porn

As for others, most of the big storied names are old, old makes them center right

Yeah, I honestly didn't find that Sin City or 300 had much of a moral compass at all, and that was probably intentional on Miller's part. I was just speaking generally, but you could well be right about the age thing.
