Hey, just fyi, I called you a nerd. And not the kind of nerd that knows a lot of nerdy stuff, I called you the kind that is just a looser.

    3. mchammer75040
Holy shit seriously? thats...bullshit. I bet the driving is pretty boring with a keyboard anyways. I blew 10 bucks on midnight club 2 and its so...meh
    4. mchammer75040

Iceberg Theory, I think. The thread is here (there's a lot about Hemingway but Cormac McCarthy is a good touchstone - read No Country For Old Men, the sheer economy of it all is startling). I should really do another contest, although anyone else is welcome to if they like hint hint.

I was actually thinking about this today. I was thinking about how before HL2 was announced it definitely looked like the plot of Half-Life was that the US government deliberately engineered the resonance cascade to provoke an interstellar war, then conquered Xen once Gordon had taken out the nihilanth. And it's all implicated, rarely explicit.

Was playing Portal again too. It is the perfect game, precisely because it icebergs masterfully to give you the plot, unlike certain culprits with their clumsy over-convenient incongruous pace-killing audio diaries COUGH COUGH bioshock

Is GTA 4 on the pc worth the buy? yay or nay?
    7. mchammer75040

    9. Sheepo
      That doesn't make any sense.

And I don't really give a shit about anything but ants.

      ...

And I'm still not going to click any of the links.
    10. Sheepo
Darn, foiled again. Although I am curious as to what I said that implied it wasn't a giant spider.
    11. Sheepo
Oh yeah, this link too. Yep, I'm definitely clicking all of theese. Uh huh.
    12. Sheepo

Yeah, I've heard the track. It's off the latest Alias album I believe but I haven't gotten around to listening to the entire thing yet. I like Alias but prefer Why?, personally. Lot more unique.
    18. Mellish
      Why can't you love me?
    19. mchammer75040
      I should report you. :arms:

    22. knut
I have not, nay. Those tracks are pretty cool, though, and I see what you mean about Why? These days he works alot more with his band whereas earlier on he was alot more solo - both is good, mind. I'll check out some more The Faint tomorrow though ta.
    23. knut
Yeah I got your confirmation on getting them, just wondering as to whether they work or not - I didnt check one or two of them if they were still valid links, haha. No worries though glad you're enjoying! I've never heard The Faint but I'll enquire to the internetz.
    24. knut
      Did the links work dood?
    25. L3N!N

Hope the avatar isn't part of the movie.

      Right?
    28. knut
Well, I've a few floating about on various harddrives that I can upload for you, if you want? I'm doing some art work atm but tomorrow afternoon I'll have a scout around a few hiding spots on the 'net where I keep little secret caches of download links to these rare little gems, k?

Good stuff! It's quite rare anyone ever takes a notice of any of the artists I suggest when it comes to intelligent hip-hop as - and it pains me to be elitest like this - they really are hindered by how underground they are. A crying shame.

Themselves are a favourite of mine.
