I did try the demo, which seemed lackluster. I believe the game is only limited to controlling smaller ships but I could be wrong. Just wish I could find info on the MP because there is so little mentioned of it, so I suspect it isn't that big.

Have you tried Taikodom (Free MMO). It's supposed to have the economy of EVE but combat of Freelancer. I got into the beta but it simply wont launch on my computer.

I wouldn't know, I'm not really that big a part of the anime community these days.

Only seen a few spread episodes of Death Note on a national TV channel(By the way, over here they don't use English dubs etc, but original Japanese ones :D), seems quite interesting.

Sadly I have a hard time finding the time for watching series etc, always end up getting occupied by games.

I am hoping to watch through the GITS series and movies sometimes soon though!
