    I think the console thing is an "easy out" for them here, because there's no way they'd ever put mods on consoles given that they have to pay thousands of dollars for certification with each game update on consoles.
    
    Plus the fact that we'd do BF3 better than they did.

  What are you talking about 'wide mode'? Your player was wide enough to accomodate a 16:9 video at 480p. But the more relevant size is its height. It's 480 pixels tall so there's no point in displaying anything larger than 480p. It was not in the larger size mode in the bottom right.

    The difference seems barely noticeable to me, but if that's worth jumping in load times for you then more power to you.
    I didn't know that you were complaining about having 480p video in a 480p sized window. If you had made this more clear in the first post I wouldn't have gone all asshole-vegeta on you. :(
