I signed up before HL:2 arrived, then kind of forgot about the site. I've never been a 'serious' poster on most forums anyway. I have more reason to post here now, so, yeah.
    2. Dog--

A little east of LA. It wasn't even actually that hot out, it was just really humid. Clouds helped, too. Sort of.

It rained for three days or so last week, and then went back to being 80 degrees. Really weird.

Would have been nice if they could have ported it to more than just the XBox-live service. Same goes for the spiffy looking R-Type Dimensions...

Oh, don't mistake me for a seasoned Shumup veteran! It's part of a government-lead initiative for me to play more games I haven't ever tried before (or err... I'm unemployed and whilst I'm searching for work - being drip fed government money - I'm playing a lot of games my cheapened name doesn't have to afford).

Ultimately, the goal is to get better at a form of game I suck at, in the hope that this counts as relevant experience for future employment (well, I could become a games tester or journalist :p). After trying and failing at Turn-Based-Strategy, you've caught me mid failure with Shumups, which are reassuring because basically everyone sucks at them. That said, I think I've only picked up a few lasting favourites... The R-Types (1 - 3 and Leo) and umm... possibly Raiden (damned tough though...)? Anyway, any recomendations? I did splurge and dip my toe in a lot of stuff which probably deserves revisiting...

It is the work of Veggies whose enormous chin keyboard tapping skills I have to thank.

I'm obsessed with my avatar ... and the emoticon that this forum seems to have invented D: [IMG]
    19. Sheepo
Yeah, made it a few months back, gonna have to make a better one since they changed the avatar sizes.
    20. Raziaar
That's always been one of the more memorable avatars :D
