Do we still go on tours? Why of course! They'll pretty much stick Yeoman anywhere as long as it's not on the mast. LOL On-shore, cruisers, carriers, battle-class, you name it. Although they don't go out quite as often, which is just as good for me. Also, Yeomen still ,"live the life of a man". LOL Being a man is about responsibility, not the thrill and danger of being on the front lines. Although I do respect your decision 100% to take on such a hazardous role for your country, because it's something I don't have the guts for. (However, if I ever faced such a situation, I would take charge. It's my nature, but I'd prefer not to experience close combat, as I fear it would change me in ways I wouldn't like) Everyone is different and is better suited for certain tasks and all have different challenges.

Remember, without our supportive roles, our Marines could be without their kevlar or our hospital corpsmen might have insufficient supplies for the wounded. :>

Yeoman. Which is administrative. We do all the paperwork to make sure both the US Marines and the NAVY is properly supplied, plus keep records of pretty much everything be it technical, combat, or medical related. A bunch of other administrative stuff too, and I could possibly get into something like paralegal work or get into a uni while enlisted to go for a business associate's or bachelor's degree. I originally was going to go into the IT program, but I failed the "eye color" exam. F**king EYE COLOR exam! Yeoman might be just as good for me though.
